Menu Prices Dropped & $5 Locals Night!

Big news at James Squire Hotel in the Docklands- prices have been slashed and are here to stay, PLUS a new Locals Night is beginning!

The whole menu has had prices drastically reduced; entrees are now as low as $10.50, parmas from just $14.50 and desserts are all only $9.50. The massive price cut means you can afford to eat out any night of the week.

James Squire: A welcome experience.

Walking into James Squire last night, it became obvious that this Hotel isn’t your average pub. Classy, yet incredibly warm and inviting, it was impossible to not feel comfortable.

Browsing through the menu, it was too hard to say no to a ‘Parma & a Pot’. Picking a ‘Lash’ from the multiple options of parma’s available, I managed to talk my friends into each choosing a different one; how else was I to work out which one I would order on my returning visit!

It seemed we had only just ordered when our friendly waiter swiftly delivered our parma’s to our table, accompanied by hand selected beers to carefully match our individual meals. My crispy crumbed tender chicken breast, topped with bacon, button mushrooms and delicious melted King Island blue & mozzarella couldn’t be faulted. Giant rustic golden potato fries on the side really ensured I would not be leaving unsatisfied!

Sitting back afterwards on the relaxing couches, we realized the biggest dilemma would be convincing ourselves to leave. But I like to think that I didn’t leave James Squire Hotel; I am in fact just having a short break before a welcoming return. After all, there are still many more parma’s to try and beers to taste!

James Gets A New Look

Big changes are brewing at James Squire. As you can see from these shots, our renovations are well underway and we're set to open for business in November.

During the renovations we've said 'goodbye' to the staircase which has really opened up the interior space. The upstairs section will be transformed into a dedicated function venue, set to open late November. While the downstairs bar area will offer premium casual dining for lunch & dinner with delicious bar snacks available all other times.

However, there is one thing we could never change... the BEER! James Squire premium quality, hand crafted brew will be flowing all day, every day.
